Kickstart Your Wedding Season

13 Mar 2013

Here in New England we are lucky to have all kinds of educational events happen in our off-season for wedding photographers. From Mystic Seminars in Connecticut to Inspire Photo Retreats in Mass along with regular PUG meetings, we have a great community and resources to keep improving our craft and building new contacts.

I find I leave each educational event with a list of "ah-ha" moments and little nuggets of information which I'm excited to implement in my business. With wedding season just around the corner (May - October are the most popular months for weddings in New England), we thought it would be awesome to ask some of Boston's best wedding photographers to put together presentations focused on quick and easy tips and suggestions to make 2013 your best wedding season ever.

On  Wednesday April 24th in Cambridge, MA we'll start the night at 5:30pm with food and beverages and the chance to meet and mingle with speakers and fellow attendees alike. The 8 (yes, you read that right!) speakers will talk for 10 minutes each giving you solid advice and educational on topics ranging from style, workflow, lighting, family formals, portraits, lighting, working with wedding planners and much much more.

Both new and experienced wedding photographers will be sure to benefit from this event, all of the speakers are donating their time and 100% of your ticket fee goes towards the great cause of Photo Night Boston.

In the next few days we'll be profiling each photographer here on our blog.  Not only will you learn more about our speakers but we hope we can provide some great information leading up to the event. We start on April 1st with local talent Lisa Rigby.

For more information or to buy tickets, please visit our Eventbrite page here.

All proceeds will go to support Photo Nights Boston
